Daniel is armed with a brand new arsenal of tricks and unbreakable motivation, he's evolving into a whole different beast.
Pioneer. Innovator. Self-made success story. Born near Los Angeles, California, as a third-generation Hispanic American, Daniel Sandoval has already left a profound mark on freestyle BMX. Ironically, he discovered BMX by accident with no idea it would change his life. After moving to Corona as a young teen, he would mess around on his bike at the skatepark after school. But once the locals taught him a few airs and tricks, an entire world unfolded. The rest is history: Sandoval soon won his first regional BMX dirt and Park contests. At age 15, he starred in a Nickelodeon TV commercial and performed on stage during a Pink concert at the American Music Awards. He went on to travel the world and star in video parts as a top pro focused on progression. Away from the spotlight, he's always put in hard work to envision groundbreaking, never-been-done tricks like the world's first 720 tailwhips to barspin and double tailwhip 720. Under competitive pressure, Daniel can put it down right when it counts, earning him a stacked competitive record with several X Games podiums including BMX Park gold. He's a BMX lifer and out there sending it every day. When he's not sessioning SoCal spots like The Sandlot or local parks with his teammates, Daniel works with a personal trainer at the garage gym in Murrieta, where Larry Edgar and Pat Casey are regulars. All the hard work is showing: Daniel is armed with a brand new arsenal of tricks and unbreakable motivation, he's evolving into a whole different beast.
