A versatile and ferociously fast competitor, Peter Hickman came late to Isle of Man TT but rapidly started to gain trophies, celebrating two of his 14 wins [prior to the 2025 edition of the race] in only his fifth attempt at the 37.7-mile course that weaves across the mountain, along lanes and through small villages of the British island. Peter is already nearing the top five in terms of outright triumphs at the IoM TT but it’s his uncompromising approach to the demands of the track that has captured attention and fans since 2014. Hickman edged the outright lap-record in 2023 with a BMW S1000R at a blurringly fast 136.3mph average lap-time: a figure that still stands prior to the 2025 program of races and considered as limit-pushing for possibilities of the machinery and of the roads. He managed to snare multiple wins in the 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023 editions. Away from the Island, Peter has tasted success in British Superbike, attempted World Superbike and brushed the armco barriers at the Macau Grand Prix. A formidable racer.
