London Summer Takeover 2.0

Published On:: 02/10/2026

For the second summer running, Monster Energy hit London with a month-long takeover packed with action and community.

Things kicked off with a tattoo flash day at east studio Seven Doors, before shifting gears to Wembley for local’s first-ever free-entry car show with Vengaworld. More than 200 of the country's finest JDM, drift, slammed Euro and exotic builds rolled in for a day celebrating automotive culture.

Next up was the return of Cash-Up, bringing BMX mayhem to the heart of Shoreditch. Created by Monster's own Dan Lacey, the London-inspired park attracted some of the world's top riders, including Monster athletes Felix Prangenberg and Jordan Goodwin.

Speaking at the event, Lacey said:

“Doing Cash-Up right in the heart of Brick Lane is amazing. It’s one of the coolest places in London, and with it being a free event, anyone can be out and about on a Saturday afternoon and stumble across this madness.

Cash-Up injects hype into the scene and gives everyone a chance to shine, unlike an invite-only contest. It gives the younger riders a chance to see how the pros get to work and learn tricks instantly. And it’s no different for the pros – we learn so much from the younger riders too.”

The month closed out with a heavy dose of bass, thanks to a night with Neuroheadz in Hackney, followed by a daytime DnB session alongside Monster favourites Homebass. A fitting finale to an unforgettable summer.
