Published On:: 19/01/2026

Learn how to play like a World Champion—OpTic Scump shares his ultimate Dravec .45 loadout for Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

It’s Monster Meta time, again. This go-around, we’re bringing you a Dravec .45 that’s built for a King.

We are back with another installment of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Monster Meta. Every new entry in this series brings you the latest and greatest loadouts from the best players in the world, and this time is no different. We’ve brought in the foremost submachine gun specialist - OpTic Scump - to lay down the law on how you should be building the best SMG in the game.

This isn’t our first time highlighting the Dravec. 45. We’ve seen pros and pubstompers alike fall in love with this weapon, and no one in the world understands how to merge those two worlds better than Scump.

OpTic Scump’s Dravec. 45 Loadout

If you want to play a World Champion, this is the build you’ll want to take into the fight.

    •    Muzzle: Hawker Stabilizer Mk. 2
    •    Barrel: “14 Verse Barrel
    •    Magazine: Gator Extended
    •    Rear Grip: Helix Tac Grip
    •    Stock: Serval Q-Step Stock

The Hawker Stabilizer Mk. 2 and “14 Verse Barrel are a staple combination thus far in Black Ops 7. Together, they elevate the Dravec. 45 into the elite tier, making it competitive even at long range. Choosing the Gator Extended Magazine opens up the potential for multi-kills and extended fights. The rest of the build is about efficiency.

Helix Tac Grip and Serval Q-Step Stock enhance your movement, allowing for snappy responses when you get caught sprinting or jumping. This is a crucial aspect of the build, as staying on the move is everything when you’re trying to build up long kill streaks. Utilize omnimovement slides, abrupt wall jumps, and the enhanced Sprint to Fire speed to catch enemies off guard and prolong your life. Each piece of the movement arsenal you master will only make you more deadly with the Dravec in your hands.

Playing The Map

Scump’s SMG build is a do-it-all kind of weapon. You can bust it out on almost any map and find success, but there are a few that are tailor-made for such a weapon; Blackheart, Den, Cortex, and Hijacked all present narrow corridors, shorter lines of sight, and at least one or two wall jump opportunities to really master the minutiae of Black Ops 7’s enhanced movement system. Take advantage of the forced proximity. Close-range gunfights will almost always be in your favor with this loadout.

You can’t just challenge recklessly, though. Sliding around corners and jump-challenging are key skills to learn to take your game to the next level. If you want to get the most out of the Dravec. 45, then pick a map that you’re comfortable with and load into a private match. Challenge yourself to master a new movement technique while using the gun.

For example, load into Exposure Search and Destroy and climb the white crate at the center of the map, just outside of the research building overlooking A-Bomb. Wall jump off the flat wall to the left of the window, and aim to land on the interior of the window. If you do it right, you will land on the windowsill with your gun already up. Not only can this catch the enemy off-guard, but by skipping the mantle animation, you’ll save valuable seconds that could save your life somewhere down the line.

Maps with longer lines of sight, like Exposure and Colossus, typically favor Snipers and Assault Rifle players, so having a complete toolbox for survival can make all the difference. In both cases, avoiding the map’s edges is crucial. Stick towards midmap, grab a few kills, reposition, then rechallenge. Do that, and the Dravec. 45 will take care of the rest.
