8 Events, 7 Days, 1 Epic Takeover

Published On:: 14/10/2025

This summer, Monster Energy took over London in spectacular fashion, delivering a week of pure adrenaline and grassroots spirit. Eight events in seven days across gaming, sport, and music – each one a testament to Monster’s commitment to bringing the claw to the fans and building an unrivalled community.

The action began with Lando Norris’ journey to the British Grand Prix, alongside the launch of his own Melon and Yuzu flavoured Monster. A helmet design-inspired Nissan R35 GTR hit London’s landmarks, turning heads and electrifying fans, before heading to the home of British motorsport where the man himself set the tires alight to a sea of fans in a burnout.

Next, a trip to Islington for a Counter-Strike gaming tournament. FifaKill and Wizzite went head-to-head with London’s finest. The energy was unmatched, the competition fierce, and the prizes – Monster swag, Xbox consoles and exclusive gear – kept the crowd on edge.

The takeover rolled south to Copelands Park, Peckham, for a Skate Jam that redefined summer nights. Cash-for-tricks, steez and raw vibes – the grassroots ethos in full flow.

Friday brought BMX to new heights – literally. On the 16th floor of a central London car park, the newest edition to the Cash-Up series saw the world’s best BMX riders, led by Monster Energy’s own Dan Lacey, push the limits against the city skyline. Trick-for-trick, slam-for-slam, the limits were pushed against a city skyline backdrop.

The night wasn’t over. An Invicta Audio-powered takeover at Pop Brixton saw that signature energy and unstoppable vibes in full motion.

Saturday was all about the underground, with drum and bass royalty Homebass throwing a secret rave in Shoreditch Tunnel. Thousands of fans, pure spirit, and raucous beats.

Sunday closed the takeover with a surprise car meet in east London, alongside car scene leaders, Vengaworld. The cars were awesome, but the atmosphere was next level.
