American Cameron Beaubier sprang to prominence in the 2007 MotoGP Rookies Cup series, winning the race at Sachsenring, finishing on the podium at Assen and Estoril and completing the competition in sixth place overall. Having increased his experience in the Spanish national championship (CEV Buckler) in 2008 as part of the MotoGP Academy project, the Californian competed in World Championship in 2009 with the Factory KTM 125cc team, alongside 2008 debutant Marc Marquez.Considered by many experts America's next great hope for international stardom, Beaubier proved his mettle in 2015 by beating four-time champion Josh Hayes to the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship in his sophomore season in the class. Beaubier won eight Superbike races en route to the title in 2015. Beaubier also has a Daytona SportBike (now Supersport) title on his resume after winning that championship in 2013.
