At X Games Japan 2022, he barged into the spotlight by claiming Best Whip bronze as a rookie. Then, on Belgium’s National Day in 2022, he clinched the gold medal in Moto X Best Whip at X Games California. He was the first rider from Belgium ever to claim gold in an X Games. Since that day, Julien has kept the wins coming with titles including back-to-back victories in 2022 and 2023 in King of the Whip in South Africa.
