With a stack of milestone achievements and championship titles, it's easy to forget that Ryan Pinkerton is still a young talent on the rise. The California native works harder than most riders on the circuit and puts everything on the line to get the win – always willing to take a heavy slam in the process. He also relies on a unique braking style by using his middle fingers to control the speed. It's a technique otherwise found in motocross and suits Ryan's full-throttle drive for storming podiums.
For years, he flat-out dominated the Junior Men's division, claiming wins in key UCI World Cup races and earning the coveted Stars and Stripes jersey as the U.S. National Champion in downhill mountain bike racing. Rising to the pro ranks, Ryan never missed a beat: In 2025, he brought home the Elite Men USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championship title. That summer, he also graduated (with honors) from the Monster Army amateur support program to pro sponsorship status.
"I have always been a massive fan of the company growing up and always thought they had the sickest riders and racers," he said upon earning his promotion. Welcome Ryan to the big leagues, although it feels like he's always been here!
