Fabiana Delfino is at the forefront of the current wave of women in skateboarding, bringing awareness by getting out there and skating everything that the men skate. And by getting on the same playing field as the men, the young Delfino (her big brother is Pedro Delfino) has participated in just about every contest and gotten clips at every spot that the boys skate.
She has become a much-needed presence in numerous tour edits, with the additional benefit of shutting down any preconceived notions of what she's capable of. Delfino is enthusiastically taking advantage of every opportunity, and bringing skateboarding closer to equality in the process.
