As one of the world's most exciting skateboarders, you could say that Grant Taylor was "born with it." The son of Atlanta, Georgia's legendary pro (and owner of Stratosphere skate shop) Thomas Taylor, GT got an early education on the local ramps; his natural ability inevitably attracted so much attention that he became sponsored by the age of six. Taylor has great instincts, with an ingrained sense of style, power, and grace that has long been considered the gold standard. It's rare when skateboarders are seemingly all in agreement about something, and GT continues to be the exception to the rule. He skates like a machine whose battery never runs out — GT is somehow always charging.
