Hailing from Nice in Southern France, the son of a former French 125cc motorcycle champion, Fabio cut his teeth in motocross at a very young age before before moving to Spain with his family aged seven. From there he quickly progressed through the Pre-GP Mediterranean ranks, counting off the championships with nonchalant ease. Further titles quickly followed as he won six Spanish championships, including consecutive CEV Moto3 titles in 2013 and 2014. In only his first year of premier class racing, in 2019, Fabio scored an impressive seven podiums from 19 starts with the Petronas Yamaha SRT team. What’s more next season - in 2021 - the French ace is set to replace none other than Valentino Rossi at the factory Yamaha racing team. We mean it, when we say it; watch this space.

În zona roșie. Echipa fabricii Ducati Lenovo a îmbrăcat în roșu MotoGP cu o victorie totală – Pole Position, Sprint și Grand Prix – și dublu trofeu în Thailanda, Marc Marquez și Francesco Bagnaia demonstrând că supremația contează. Lumina soarelui a sărit de pe ochelarii spaniolului și italianului pe soclurile podiumului, în timp ce uralele celor 99.700 de fani thailandezi au răsunat la Buriram.
Ca și în cazul celorlalte 39 de curse și douăzeci de weekenduri ale sezonului, Marele Premiu al Solidarității de la Barcelona, a văzut pe vedetele MotoGP lăsând totul pe asfalt. De data aceasta a fost pentru finalul campaniei.
Marea Britanie se aștepta, iar MotoGP a livrat un memorabil și comemorativ Mare Premiu al Marii Britanii Monster Energy la Silverstone, la jumătatea sezonului campionatului mondial 2024. Fotbal, Jocurile Olimpice, F1 și acum curse de motociclete necruțătoare: peisajul sportiv a devenit tare, zgomotos și rapid pentru un eveniment care a sărbătorit 75 de ani de MotoGP cu modele retro cool și o atmosferă generală de sărbătoare.
