Benail Dariush was born on a farm near Urmia in Iran and at the age of nine, his family emigrated to the United States. Dariush did not begin training brazilian jiu-jitsu until he was 18 years of age and began his career as a pro just two years later, starting off with a 7 fight win streak (including his UFC debut). During his time with the organization, Dariush has been awarded Performance of The Night honors multiple times and Fight of The Night.
